Featured Massage Modalities

Deep Tissue

Using skillful, focused pressure, this massage targets the deeper layers of muscles, fascia, and tendons to release chronic tension and realign the body. With slower, more deliberate strokes and minimal oil, it helps break down adhesions, improve mobility, and relieve areas of long-held tightness. Ideal for those seeking therapeutic relief from stiffness, overuse, or stress-related discomfort.

Pregnancy

Nurturing and supportive, this work relieves the stresses of her changing, mother-to-be body. Can be deep or light depending on the need of the client (please note: first trimester massage is always gentler). Usually side lying, supported with pillows, and/or on one’s back using a wedge.

Abdominal Massage

A gentle and effective therapy that focuses on the body’s center to support digestion, circulation, and emotional balance. Through slow, mindful touch and rhythmic movements, this treatment can help relieve bloating or discomfort, ease tension, and promote deep relaxation. It encourages harmony within the body’s core and supports overall well-being.

Reflexology (Foot)

A therapeutic technique that applies focused pressure to specific points on the feet and hands. Based on the principle that these reflex areas correspond to different organs and systems of the body, reflexology helps restore balance, stimulate energy flow, and support overall health and relaxation throughout the entire body.

Shiatsu

Meaning “finger pressure” in Japanese, Shiatsu is a therapeutic bodywork practice based on acupuncture principles and performed without oil. Using rhythmic pressure, gentle stretches, and mindful breathwork, it helps balance the body’s energy pathways, ease tension, and support natural healing. This deeply centering practice promotes relaxation, vitality, and overall harmony throughout the body.

Sports

A vigorous and restorative massage designed for athletes and active individuals. This treatment combines deep tissue techniques, assisted stretching, trigger point therapy, and rhythmic rocking to release tight muscles and enhance flexibility. By stimulating circulation and promoting faster recovery after exercise, it helps prevent injury, improve performance, and restore ease and mobility throughout the body.

Swedish

A classic relaxation massage that uses long, flowing strokes and gentle kneading techniques with warm oil to ease tension throughout the body. This nurturing treatment enhances circulation, soothes the nervous system, and helps melt away stress and fatigue. Ideal for those seeking deep relaxation, it restores a sense of balance, calm, and overall well-being.

Trigger Point

Trigger point therapy, also called neuromuscular therapy, is the application of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction. By skillfully using precise pressure at these points, the point and the referred area can be disarmed, creating more comfort, relaxation, and ease of movement.

Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR)

Nurturing and supportive, this work relieves the stresses of her changing, mother-to-be body. Can be deep or light depending on the need of the client (please note: first trimester massage is always gentler). Usually side lying, supported with pillows, and/or on one’s back using a wedge.
